Inside the Performers
THEATER facility

Holding over 250 seats, the facility provides the complete performers atmosphere for a full immersion program-- from direction to critique, from technique to stage trials,  from lecture/practice to understanding, from self esteem and confidence to performance readiness. Our professional staff presented here, within such an extraordinary facility, is well prepared to guide all students to great performances.

Performance Mentor
Kristen Vellinger


Over nine years of performing experience. She has held leading roles in musical theatre productions around the Bay Area, including performances with performer Don Lewis and American Idol star Clay Aiken. She has also spent approximately nine years training with various vocal coaches, with an emphasis in musical theatre and performing. She believes that music can change the world, and is passionate about helping others ‘‘find their voice’’ and use their talent in the arts to make a difference in the lives of those around them.

 

Morgan Breedveld
Actress, Singer
Senior Mentor

Morgan has been performing all over the bay area for the last 16 years. She is a theater veteran of over 60 productions, and has also performed with American Idol star Clay Aiken.  She has received numerous awards for her acting, and is a California State Vocal Grand Champion.  She has studied both acting and singing with different coaches all over California giving her a true appreciation for the arts.   Morgan brings with her a wealth of knowledge about performing, and loves to share her knowledge of the craft with others to help inspire them and grow as performers.

Katie Walda

Part of the Bay Area Music scene for over 25 years, Katie has played everything from Opera to Jazz. She is a professional accompanist, organist and music director. She holds a Degree in Organ Performance and played Organ Concerts all over the world.  As a keyboardist, as well, she has played in many musicals, including "Nine", "Company" and "Fiddler on the Roof". No stranger to musical directing she has also led "Little Shop of Horrors", "Black Patent Leather Shoes", and "Annie Get Your Gun". Katie is always in demand as a vocal coach, helping to prepare students for auditions and Scholarships.

Doug Linman

35 years of performing as a musician, singer, improv studio musician, lyric and music composer. Trained in stage and concert performance at Singer's Studio in Georgetown, Washington D.C. during the middle 1960's, and having played pop guitar and  classical jazz piano in over 20 countries internationally, he offers a wealth of knowledge and direct experience to advance and inspire each student.
